What are announcements?
The Announcements section of Rogue functions very similarly to that of our sister site, Rascal. The idea here is that publishers, PR firms, and developers can request permission to post press releases and announcements on this page by contacting us at: contact@rogue.site.
Once approved, these firms, publishers, and developers will be able to input their press releases directly into the website's content management system on the backend. One of the members of the Rogue staff will then read and publish select press release that we believe may interest our audience into the announcements section.
There is no exchange of funds between Rogue and the people who submit press releases to the Announcements section. Announcements are simply a way for us to get more news on Rogue without needing to waste time re-writing a press release. These posts live entirely in the Announcements section, will never feature on the front page, and are only viewable by those who have a free or paid account on Rogue.
