Hello, police? Helldiver 2's new Hive Lord is bullying me and I'm scared

I’m an accomplished Helldiver. I was there for the defense of Malevolon Creek, the missions to liberate Automaton technologies, and the pivotal defense of Super Earth. I play on 10, the highest difficulty, and I laugh in the face of Factory Striders, Bile Titans, and Harvesters. However, I may have overestimated my abilities, because so far my time with the new Helldivers 2 update Into the Unjust is a shitshow. I cannot overstate just how many times I have gotten rocked by the burrowing bugs introduced in this update. Also, hi, mom? Yeah, I need you to pick me up. I’m getting bullied by the new Hive Lord.

Hive Lords have been teased for quite some time. This big worm, whom I do not love, was originally the final boss of the Bugs in the first Helldivers. In Helldivers 2, sharp-eyed players could see piles of molted carapace piled on planets that looked suspiciously like it belonged to a Hive Lord. When Arrowhead revealed Into the Unjust, some players looked at the silhouette in the back of the key art and realized what was coming. I thought I was prepared. Instead, I often find myself staring dejectedly at my screen as my poor Helldiver is reduced to just a torso, and looking for excuses to go home early.
