Riot Games has been quietly continuing the narratives set up in the Netflix series Arcane. The new season of League of Legends is all about the machinations of LeBlanc and the Black Rose, villains who were showcased heavily in Arcane season two. We know from the series that Mel returned to her homeland of Noxus in order to investigate and unmask the Illuminati-like society.

Unfortunately for everyone on Runeterra, LeBlanc is blazing ahead, and her evil scheme progresses in season three of League of Legends, which debuted on Aug. 27.
