The latest Destiny: Rising update is a real kick in the dick for those of us that miss Destiny 2
Destiny: Rising is attempting to make a comeback with some hardcore Destiny 2 nostalgia
Look, Destiny 2 is going through a bit of a moment right now. By which I mean, not much is happening. And by 'not much is happening,' I mean the Destiny update that was supposed to hit in early March got delayed until June with nothing to really cover that gap.
So all of us Destiny fans are a little lost right now as we await news on what's next for our favorite game — and just how much longer it'll keep getting updates. (If that sounds like dooming, I'm a Destiny 3 hopeful and a subscriber to the idea that it's already in development, which you can read my thoughts on here).
With D2 in some kind of Marathon/Portal-induced limbo, Destiny: Rising is making an attempt to rise from the grave with ... an update that feels specifically designed to target me.
