January is typically the slow season for games. Despite the hustle culture of the industry, many studios slow down during the holidays, and everything from news to releases take a little while to ramp back up. If you’re like me (hey, it’s Ryan), it’s the perfect time to for your seasonal depression to kick in and return to some old games. And if you’re not like me … you can still go back to some fun, old games and skip the depression part (best recommended in this entire article).

Now that we’re back in the saddle and gearing up for all the news and releases this year that will hopefully distract us from the constant horrors of the world, we’re going to run you all through the entertainment we spent our holidays enjoying.
