All Reagents in Hades 2 and where to find them

All the resources you collect — Reagents — in Hades 2 are useful. They go into Incantations at the Crossroads Cauldron or get used to unlock and upgrade your weapons at the Silver Pool.

Like we said in the beginner's guide we wrote, having a goal will help you focus your runs. And sometimes, that goal is going to be one specific Reagent. The problem is, a lot of them are only found in one specific region.

Let's list them out.

The types of Reagents

Each region of Hades 2 has four kinds of Reagent, and each has its own way of collecting it.

• Flowers can just be grabbed
• Metal (and stone) needs to be mined with the Crescent Pick
• Seeds need to be dug up with the Silver Spade and then planted in the Crossroads
• The last Reagent is a drop — usually one at a time — from the area's boss

Miscellaneous Reagents

Some Reagents are just kind of everywhere and don't fit into the categories below.

• Bones are a currency for the Wretched Broker in the Crossroads and a room reward during runs
• Ash is mostly for unlocking your Arcana and is a room reward
• Psyche is a reward for using the Tablet of Peace on Lost Shades during runs
• Fate Fabric comes from the Wretched Broker, Charon's Gold Rewards, or from Arachne

Underworld Reagents

You'll start your game with runs through the underworld: Erebus, Oceanus, Fields of Mourning, and Tartarus.

Erebus Reagents

In Erebus, you'll find:

• Nightshade Seeds
• Cinder (Hecate)

Oceanus Reagents

• Lotus
• Limestone
• Cattail Seeds
• Pearl (Scylla)

Fields of Mourning Reagents

• Myrtle
• Glassrock
• Wheat Seeds
• Tears (The Infernal Beast)

Tartarus Reagents

• Shaderot
• Marble
• Poppy Seeds
• Zodiac Sand (Chronos)

Surface Reagents

The surface world runs will take you through: City of Ephyra, the Rift of Thessaly, Mount Olympus, and The Summit.

City of Ephyra Reagents

Rift of Thessaly Reagents

• Driftwood
• Iron
• Mandrake Seeds

Chaos Reagents

Chaos is kind of the "third, secret thing" to the under- and overworlds. There are two Reagents you can pick up there.

Crossroad Reagents

The final Reagent is a weird — and anachronistic — one that can only be found in the Crossroads after Eris arrives.
