How to dispose of bodies in Death Stranding 2

Killing enemies in Death Stranding 2 is actually pretty difficult. Running people over with a car, shooting them in the face with a shotgun, or electrocuting them all just make brigands sleepy li'l guys.

And that means, when you do finally get deadly weapons, it's easy to forget that killing people is bad news in the Death Stranding universe — a dead body might necrotize, turn turn into a BT, and cause a voidout. That's why bodies have to be disposed of properly via cremation.

This BigFriendly.Guide will tell you how to dispose of a dead body in Death Stranding 2. This will probably also be a guide for how to end up on a watchlist for writing a guide to disposing of dead bodies, so stay tuned for that!

There are a couple minor and vague spoilers below.

The first lethal weapon doesn't show up in On the Beach until a bit after you meet Tomorrow. After that, you'll start running into Ghost Mechs who will drop Ghost Blades. These, I found out the hard way, are deadly to humans. (Looking back, I mean, it makes sense.)

So far, these are the only deadly weapons I've encountered.

So, you made a dead body

Both the game and Dollman (and Lou) will start to freak out when you kill someone in On the Beach. In-universe, this is a major no-no, and you'll have to make it right.

First, go up to the body — it'll have a little ghost icon over it instead of the sleepy stars — and put it in a body bag.

Now, you've got to take it to a Distribution Center — basically any facility that you drive into and has a garage (but not the DHV Magellan). The problem is, carrying a body takes up your entire backpack. You'll have to get creative with your cargo organization if you don't want to leave anything behind. Bodies can ride shotgun on a tri-cruiser and can be loaded into pickups, though.

After a little time, when you're transporting a dead body, no one will take deliveries or even let you inside. Every facility will have red hologram alerts when you show up — even the distribution centers.

When you get to that point, head to a distribution center — like F1 West Fort Knot or F2 South Distribution Center — and go up to the terminal. Choose Facility Features > Corpse Disposal to cremate the body.
