How to unlock the Revenant character in Elden Ring Nightreign
The Revenant is the final character you can unlock in Elden Ring Nightreign. Here's how to get the Besmirched Frame and defeat the Night Idol.

The Revenant is the second and final unlockable character in Elden Ring Nightreign. She's a high Faith, Intellect, and Arcane character that acts as support and pet character. Her passive causes her to occasionally raise enemies she and her allies kill from the grave, and her Necromancy skill allows her to control a single, permanent summon. The Revenant's ultimate skill is Immortal March, which will temporarily make you and your allies invincible while also resurrecting any "near death" players.
In this BigFriendlyGuide, we're going to walk you through how to unlock the Revenant by purchasing the Besmirched Frame.
How to get the Besmirched Frame in Elden Ring Nightreign

In order to acquire the Besmirched Frame — which you need in order to acquire the Revenant — you first need to unlock the Duchess with the Old Pocketwatch. Once you have the Duchess, you can immediately — no need to do an Expedition in-between or anything — go to the Small Jar Bazaar shop in the Rountable Hold. You'll notice a strange new item in their shop for 1500 Murk: the Besmirched Frame. Purchase it.

Like the Old Pocketwatch, the Besmirched Frame acts like an equippable blue relic. However, it also allows you to see a ghost in the Roundtable Hold. On the wing opposite the Small Jar Bazaar, where you can find the lore Journal, you'll see a ghost looking into a painting on the wall. Approach and interact with the ghost to be teleported into a smaller version of the expedition map.
How to defeat the Night Idol and unlock the Revenant

When you load in, mark the ruins ahead of you on your map and run toward them. You'll eventually find the ghostly girl standing in the middle of a large arena. As you approach her, she'll summon three enemies to attack you. To unlock the Revenant, you need to kill the Night Idol before she or her friends kill you.
There are a few strategies here, but I'll propose two. First, you can rush the Night Idol with a character that can deal a lot of damage in just a few hits like the Raider. Ignore the summons, hit her a few times, and she'll die. If you're struggling with the fight, try swapping to Ironeye and taking her summons down one at a time. This will make the fight quite a bit longer, but it's essentially foolproof once the summons are dead.
After you defeat the Night Idol, you'll be teleported back to the Roundtable Hold and be able to swap to the Revenant character at any time.
