Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 has come and gone, and with it a slew of new game reveals, updates, and more.

We also know that it can be hard to parse through all of the trailers on YouTube or dedicate more than 2 hours of your day to watching the entire thing in real time.

Nodusfall from HoYoverse

HoYoverse, the creators of Genshin Impact, have revealed a brand new Elden Ring style Co-op Action RPG built on Unreal Engine 5 with a gritty artstyle and "Multi-Mythology" world. No release date was provided, but we'll be sure to let you know when HoYoverse announces it.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Tactics

A new tactical turn-based entry in the Rainbow Six franchise that ties in the world of Rainbow Six Siege. It's Tom Clancy, it's Rainbow Six, it's tactical, and it's coming sometime in 2027. What more could you want?

Gears of War: E-Day - Exclusively on XBOX

Of course, XBOX's upcoming Gears of War prequel was shown off with a reminder that this one is, in fact, an XBOX console exclusive. The multiplayer beta may have come and gone, but there's plenty of blood, sweat, and large, disproportionately sized men in armor with chainsaw guns coming your way on October 6th.

Ananta from NetEase

The upcoming free-to-play urban open-world action RPG (yes, that's what they call it) from NetEase got a brand new trailer along with a release date of January 15th, 2027. This looks like if GTA, Persona, Watch Dogs, and Genshin Impact had a weird love child. If that tickles your fancy, this is gonna go so hard for you.

Silent Hill: Townfall - Cast Reveal

The upcoming Silent Hill: Townfall got a new Cast Reveal trailer today. The latest entry in the horror game series will include performances from Jovan Adepo (3 Body Problem, IT: Welcome to Derry, The Odyssey) as Simon, Kezia Burrows (Observation) as Zoe, and Terry O'Quinn (Lost, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live) as Richard.

Crimson Desert Enhanced - Available Now

One of the biggest games of the year so far, and one of the most controversial at the time of its release, received a free update today. The new and improved Crimson Desert Enhanced includes new story moments, voice acting, language support and more. As an added bonus, it's currently on sale on Steam for those that haven't picked it up.

Tides of Annihilation - New Casting Announcement

This upcoming fantasy action-adventure game from Chinese studio Eclipse Glow Games received a new trailer today. Geoff Keighley also confirmed onstage that Angela Sant'Albano (Grace Ashcroft from Resident Evil Requiem), will play the main character, Gwendolyn, following Jennifer English's departure from the title earlier this year. No release date has been set just yet.

Lofsöng looks charming

This gorgeous exploration puzzle adventure game is coming from Italian game developer, Unrelated Studio, and looks to be inspired by classic games like Journey and Inside. It is available for Wishlisting now, but again, no release was revealed.

Mega Man: Dual Override... and Pragmata too I guess

The long-overdue return of Mega Man is coming next year in 2027, but you don't have to wait that long to brandish your blue. Mega Man: Dual Override is bringing some... interesting cosmetics to Pragmata "soon".

Rayman Legends Retold AYYYY MACARENA!

The Rayman Legends remaster release on October 1st is packed full of updated visuals, fully voiced cutscenes, new scenarios, and — don't forget — music levels. In fact, here's a first look at it's new Macarena level. Yes, I'm serious and yes, it looks like a ton of fun.

PUBG DED.NET closed beta

This one came out of left field a bit. Taking place in 1990's Cascadia, PUBG: DED.NET is a new multiplayer FPS that combines shooter gameplay with roguelite progression. No release date yet, but there is a sign-up sheet for the closed beta.

Game of Thrones: War for Westeros coming early 2027

Don't worry Game of Thrones fans, your Jon Snow [Ed Note: let the record show that Austin is a fake fan and I had to edit an h out of Jon's name] is featured in this new trailer for the upcoming Strategy game from Australian developer PlaySide Studios. You can expect this one early next year.

Dust: Origins looks neat

The team behind Battle Chasers, Darksiders Syndicate, and the shockingly fantastic Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, Airship Syndicate, is bringing a new isometric shooter with incredibly cool Doom vibes to your home at some point in the future.

Exodus makes a splash

This new third-person sci-fi action-adventure RPG got an extended trailer with a deep dive on Salt, your new sentient Octopus companion. Exodus slashes into game libraries everywhere on April 7th, 2027.

Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons deep dive

An extremely long look at the new D&D game, Warlock: Dungeons and Dragons shows off more than 8 minutes of combat, magic, puzzle solving, and communing with forces that are beyond our realm. Warlock: Dungeons and Dragons is coming next year.

Metro 2039 and the Ukrainian team making it happen

The Metro series continues to be beloved by longtime fans and with the ongoing war in Ukraine, it's inspiring to see the team at 4A Games so passionate about creating something that itself maintains a striking, dark tone. Some of the leads on the project spoke about the game and showed off the Spartan helmet replica that will be available with the game's Collector's Edition. Metro 2039 is coming in February 2027.

Snoop Dogg is in Hitman: World of Assassination

When does Tupac show up, you think? You can find the D O Double-G in Hitman: World of Assassination as it's new Elusive Target and play for free starting August 27th through September 26th.

Aion 2 release date

The upcoming flight-focused MMO sequel to 2008's Aion is coming out on October 5th, 2026.

Stage Tour gets a launch date and officially licensed hardware

Stage Tour, the upcoming Rockband- and Guitar Hero-like rhythm game announced their partnerships for their new guitar, drum-kit, and microphone peripherals as well as a launch date of December 10th, 2026. Pretty sick, not gonna lie (and pretty expensive too).

Afterworld from Paradox announced

This newly announced Fallout and Mad Max inspired strategy game from developer Paradox might be enough to get me to finally play my first strategy game in nearly 15 years purely based on vibes.

Crazy Taxi: World Tour new Multiplayer trailer

Zoopunk announced

It's starting to feel like this year's Gamescom was for the furries. No shade, happy for y'all, but this is like the 5th game with anthropomorphic animals shown off today. I will admit though, that bunny is pretty damn cool.

There Are No Ghosts at the Grand looks like Bioshock Powerwash simulator

This ONL just keeps getting weirder as we go, but here's a follow up trailer for There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, a "Musical, Lovecraftian, Renovator", coming to Early Access this December.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation story trailer

A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the third and final entry in the Final Fantasy VII trilogy, is here and gives us a glimpse at the story and world of the hotly anticipated title. Coming spring 2027 to everything, everywhere, all at once.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Remastered revealed

No Witcher 4? No problem! The team at CD Projekt Red have brought a revamped and improved version of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt to everyone who already owns the game completely free of charge. This newly remastered version of the game will also include the first two expansions for TW3 in preparation for the upcoming expansion, Songs of the Past. The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Remastered is coming on September 29th.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past expansion received a nice new teaser trailer to wrap up ONL this year and despite the hype in the room following the remaster of the base game announcement, there is still no release date beyond 2027. Hopefully we get it sooner rather than later.
