First Light shows off Bond's hybrid hypercar
Bond drives a hybrid now, probably because of woke
Well, it's not Bond's yet. It's aspirational.
We've seen the young, not-yet-double-0 Bond driving in previous First Light trailers and reveals, but he's always been behind the wheel of a yellow Aston Martin DBS. But this new reveal shows off what Bond could be driving, once he attains double-0 status.
Alastair Mackenzie's Q showed off Bond's Omega last month. Now, he's giving the sales pitch for the Aston Martin Valhalla. The Valhalla is a real car, by the way, but it's limited to a run of 999 and will likely cost roughly $1,000,000.
Of course, the Q Branch has added in a few double-0-friendly upgrades like a pair of 7.62mm, 1,200 rounds per minute machine guns. Q explicitly says "a few modifications you won't find in the brochure," so there're probably some other toys built in that we'll have to wait to see. Fingers crossed for an ejector seat.
Obviously, Bond will drive the Valhalla at some point in the game — it'd be a real dick move to show it off like this and then make it unobtainable. But we'll have to wait until March 27, 2026 to see James earns his number and the keys to his new hypercar.
