The epic wait for the 1.0 launch of Hades 2 ends on Sep. 25
The epic wait is almost over

Following roughly four and a half years in development, players will finally be able to guide Melinoë to the highest peaks of Mount Olympus in the 1.0 release of Hades 2, arriving on Sep. 25. Announced during the Sep. 12 Nintendo Direct, the launch version of the game will see the conclusion of Melinoë's quest to vanquish the titan Chronos and will be available as an automatic update to PC players who have been following the game throughout early access.
Details of what else we can expect with the 1.0 launch are a bit light compared to the typical laundry list of patch notes that have accompanied each Hades 2 milestone since its early access release in May of 2024. However, Supergiant has stated that Hades 2 will feature cross-save support between both models of the Nintendo Switch and Steam versions of the game. Meaning any progress you've made during early access will be automatically shared across your preferred platforms.
However, it's worth noting for early access players that any Zodiac Sand or Void Lens resources you've accumulated when 1.0 launches will be automatically converted to Prestige. Any other resources or unlocks you've acquired will still be available to you.
Hades 2 is Supergiant's first sequel, and while many fans of the original Hades have opted to reserve their impressions for the 1.0 launch, I can say with confidence that their patience will be rewarded.
