New Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 inspired update coming to Cyberpunk 2077 this week
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting new content this week inspired by the second season of Edgerunners
All 10 episodes of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 are now available on Netflix and this week, CD Projekt Red is bringing a new update to the game that started it all.
Releasing on October 22nd, the Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners 2 Update, or Title Update 2.5, is bringing with it "new items and features," the studio revealed in a social media post earlier today. A follow up post on Twitter also revealed that the update will be coming with new arm attachments, dual-wielding builds, and more. This update certainly won't be as large as the acclaimed Phantom Liberty expansion, but new content for a game with one of the biggest redemption arcs in gaming history is still something to be excited about.

CDPR is going to be hosting another one of their REDstreams tomorrow, October 21st at 11am EDT/9am PDT (or 5pm CEST). The stream will breakdown everything fans can expect when the update goes live on Wednesday for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will also be getting the update at a later, unannounced date.
Both Cyberpunk 2077 and the Ultimate Edition of the game—which includes the Phantom Liberty expansion—are on sale on Steam right now through October 26th for $17.99 and $33.10, respectively. Now is a great time to hop into the game if you haven't yet, especially with new content just days away.
