Data centers, the delayed PS6, and cars
Last week, I wrote about how AI data centers are buying up so much RAM that it's affecting consumer electronic prices and is (most likely) going to delay the release of the PS6 and the next Xbox.
In that article, I have a throwaway line about how auto makers are also being impacted by the shortage. The problem is, I know next to nothing about cars so I couldn't really say anything beyond that.
Luckily, though, Rogue has friends at other independent journalism outlets that write about this sort of thing. The brilliant podcast Never Post invited me and Rory Carroll from the automotive website Alloy to sit down and have a conversation about the wide-reaching impacts of this shortage.
