Forza Horizon 6 doesn't feel like Japan, but it's a fun tribute

While it doesn’t feel much like Japan, it is at least a fantastic tribute to that eclectic car culture, with some fun spots of sightseeing along the way.

Tokyo was always going to be a difficult setting for Forza Horizon: the streets are narrow, Tokyo is unfathomably huge (but surprisingly lacking in iconic buildings that set one street apart from another), and many of the most interesting locations around Japan are completely pedestrianised – I can’t imagine the Japanese tourist board would be too keen on letting people race through temples or the gardens of Nara.

But Forza Horizon 6 has attempted it, and while it doesn’t feel much like Japan, it is at least a fantastic tribute to that eclectic car culture, with some fun spots of sightseeing along the way.
