Lego Batman is the cinematic mash-up I've dreamed of

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a ridiculously long title. So long that I’m refusing to use it. Let’s just call it Lego Batman from here on. But despite the grandiose title, Lego Batman is a thing of wonder, the first game that has truly captured the spirit of Batman’s history in cinema. Instead of attempting to recreate one era or series, the game tackles all of them at the same time.

And it works.
