Mistfall Hunter reminds me a bit too much of vanilla Diablo 3
The auction house is killing my fun
If you’re old, you’ll remember back when Diablo 3 came out and everyone was furious. Sure, that fury started because of the infamous Error 37 that stopped people from getting online at launch, but the anger stayed because of one major culprit: the auction house.
Diablo 3's Auction House is an all-time gaming blunder, with problems like real money trading, inflated pricing, and more. But as someone who was a diehard Diablo 3 player. But, as someone who played a lot of Diablo 3 both pre and post the Reaper of Souls expansion, the biggest issue with the auction house is how it ruined the game's progression for me. Why is the loot I find special if I can always find something better on the AH? Gold is the only thing that really matters anymore, because I can just buy a full set of gear if I need to.

Mistfall Hunter isn’t an ARPG the way Diablo is; instead, it's an extraction game set in a fantasy world, complete with bows, knives, and hammers. While it’s not the first extraction game to feature an auction house, it's the first one I’ve played, and once again, I don’t care for the way it makes me feel.
