These two shady bitches are carrying World of Warcraft: Midnight

I’ve finished the main storyline of World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Midnight, and I have mixed feelings. There are some things that I don’t like narratively, like the Sunwell’s storyline and its eventual evolution into the Dawnwell. The main plot, the evolution of the elves and the salvation of Silvermoon City just doesn’t do much for me. At the same time, the characters in this expansion are pretty good.

To be clear, I don’t mean any of the usual suspects. I am so tired of the Windrunner family, and the last time we saw eldest daughter Alleria, she was lost with her husband in some kind of Void prison. Honestly, I think that might be for the best. Her nephew and sisters are still around, but I have my eye on another duo of characters. They’re the most blatantly evil and shady bitches around, and I absolutely adore both of them.

Decimus and Astalor Bloodsworn are the standout characters of the expansion so far, and I kind of hope that they remain on the edges of the expansion where they can be rogueish cards who are clearly up to no good. Let me tell you all about these terrible, no good dudes and why, despite the fact that I’m certain one or both is going to betray us, I’m delighted to have them along for the ride.
