Fortnite is getting a new PowerWash Simulator PVP mode with PowerWash Splashout
The beloved, chill-vibes game PowerWash Simulator took the internet by storm when it released back in 2022. Its sequel, PowerWash Simulator 2, saw just as much love last year with crossover levels from franchises like Star Wars, Final Fantasy, and Warhammer. Now, it's PowerWash Simulator that is crossing over into Fortnite.

Announced on Twitter this morning, PowerWash Splashout is a custom gamemode inside Fortnite that allows you to play solo or in teams, with up to 8 players, as you race the clock to clean up as much as you can. While cleaning is the goal, this is a PvP mode at its core. In order to defeat your enemies, you have tools at your disposal to disrupt the satisfying dings of completing each section of an area. One of these disruptions is the ability to throw dirt balls at your opponent's assignments, extending the time they need to spend power washing.
You'll also find a Mega-Gnome for you and your team to wash down. Doing so allows you to buy upgrades like extended range and power for your power washer, Soapspot cooldown and duration increases, and more. These upgrades can give you the upper hand in head-to-head washing warfare, so make sure you grab them when you can.
This looks like a silly, chaotic good time with friends and I cannot wait to hop into it with my pals. PowerWash Simulator gave me hours of satisfying, relaxing simple tasks and I can't wait to see the complete opposite side of that coin.
