Rogue Roundup for June 20, 2026 - Quick And Dirty Next Fest Edition
The big Next Fest roundup/newsletter is here!
Remember last week during this very newsletter when we said we were busy over here? Well, it turns out Next Fest didn't help with that.
But, this month's Next Fest felt particularly good, with a ton of interesting demos to check out and write about.
Since we wrote almost exclusively about all of the cool demos to find over this last week, we're going to do a quick and dirty roundup here to help you find all the coolest demos before they expire.
We should be (mostly) back to our regular programming next week, with things clicking a little more into place in July.

First, we had some demo roundups that are technically from a few weeks ago. But since those demos are still available for all, we're going to count them here!
We have Cass with recommendations for:
- Come To My Party!
- Star Trek: Outposts Unknown
- Ballgame
- Goat's Odyssey
- Hack 'n' Stack
And Jeff dropped some early recommendations over the last two weeks, including:
- Demon Bluff
- Desktop Explorer
- Normal Golf Game
- Shipping Store Simulator 2037
- Silver Pines
- Static Dread: The Submarine
- About Fishing
- The Incentive Program
- Moss: The Forgotten Relic
- Photomaly
- Project P.I.T.T.
- Thanks, Light
Cass also dropped in a few macabre recommendations in the middle of the week:
- Death at Fleming Manor
- Crow's Requiem
- Phantasma Hotel
As well as three final recs to close out their week:
- Hae Stack
- Nocturne
- Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?!
Ryan offered a series of recommendations to end the week as well, many of which (and more) he streamed on his new Twitch channel over the week:
- The Lift
- Dicevaders
- Chained Beasts
- Shroom and Gloom
- Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis
And Jeff took us home with the final roundup of the week with:
- Bioeden
- Cornerfall
- Deer & Boy
- Iron Nest: Heavy Turret Simulator
- Press a Button Simulator
- Worming from Home
If you want to learn more about any of these demos, you can check out a full write-up for each in their respective articles.
As far as breakout demos that deserved their own article, we have two for you. First, Tom took on Empulse, the blatantly obvious Titanfall rip-off, which he is super into. And Ryan wrote quite a bit about Mistfall Hunter, a Dark Souls-esque extraction shooter coming later this summer.
Outside of Next Fest, things were pretty quiet this week. But Jeff did grace us with part 12 of his CyberPunk 2025 series, which includes a picture of Molotov Cocktease from The Venture Brothers in the header image, so it's already perfect. Give it a read!
Thanks again for hanging with us this Next Fest! These demo drops are some of our favorite times of the year, and when we feel the most valuable for our readers out there, as we know you're all looking for recommendations on how to spend your precious time in these dark days.
Thanks for reading! We'll see you next Next Fest, and next week for more great Rogue coverage!
